[Mod] Turf OP (Fun with Objects) FIXED VIDEO LINK!

Hey, this is my first mod that I created for Halo 2. I have had experiance with Halo PC and HMT though. My mod is half skinned, with a nice clean theme. Anyway almost every weapon shoots out a projectile, and also some that don't spawn on the map. Also I changed a lot of physics about the level. Enjoy version one. I may edit it some more leter on. Here are the specs of my modded map:

1) Rate of fire increased on Sniper.
2) Clips increased of many weapons to allow for no interuptions.
3) Grenade's force and damage increased.
4) Brute Shot shoot Rockets that cause a lot of force and damage.
5) Pistol shoots beam rifle which has a lot of force.
6) Shotgun shoots 10 large trashcans that fall from sky.
7) Brute Plasma Rifle shoots Blue Vending Machines
8) Players crouch fast, and jump fairly high. Not absurb amounts like other mods.
9) Battle Rifle shoots Dumpsters.
10) Weights of object altered.
11) Elites smaller.
12) Plasma Pistol shoots MC's and charged bolts are defunctional elites.
13) No horn on hog. (Error)
14) No SMG. (Froze the game before)
15) Skinned Level
16) Hog Turret shoots Destructive Barrels
17) Needler shoots mini Mines from Containement.
18) Carbine shoots Fuel Cores.
19) Hog speed increased.
20) Melee force increased.
21) Sniper shoots crates.
22) Plasma Rifle shoots Boxes.
23) Other things I might have forgot...

Be carefull not to lag up the game because it is very easy to do with all the objects. I actually was able to use the object overload element in the game to delete all the normally spawned objects by creating 20 masterchiefs on them. I showed this in the movie. Hope you enjoy. Sorry it's only PPF, I don't know how to use Serenties and SPPF's. :(

All the exploding barrels sounds like it would be fun, other than its a fun mod.

The video wasn't worth downloading. It's 2:30 so you expect it to be long, but it just shows you jumping and running around for about 23 seconds. Then the rest is black screen.


No projectile swaps were shown.

Redo the vid dude and show a lot more. And no Black Eyed Peas, they suck :evil: !

Oh shit, It must not have rendered completely. Because I did show the projectile swaps in the movie. I'll have to fix that...

Ok the problem was I had the editor render the movie set to render loop only for some reason. And the loop was set to the end of the mvie. So I fixed that. Also as for all of you that say its bad:

It's a fun map, if you play with others. I played with my neighbors and my brother for about 8 hours yesterday. Also there are other fun things you can do, like crush each other with boxes, and use the object overload to delete other objects. Also one new thing we have been doing is setting chain reactions with the cores and loop them around the map then set them off. At the very end we have a hog that explodes with tons of continment cores all around it. Mad fun. Don't judge it, until you try it.

Also something that I did perfect was match the music at the time when I spawns MC's on the wire bridge. :)

Well, from the sounds of it... For a first mod it seems great.

Most first mods are a few Rocket and Plasma Pistol swaps, and super speed. This you've atleast done some abstract swaps, a bit (I can't say for sure) of skinning, and some changes to forces.

awsome mod for a first man ;) I would have really dug this 3 years ago when I started moding but now ive kinda lost that fun "spark" but this sounds really cool and mabey I could fix those errors you were talking about.

P.S. for my first mod on H2 I made masterchief huge like the hulk and throw busses at people that would disappear after 5 seconds lol. what im getting at is you do way better than most first time modders.

Well like I said before. I have had experience with modding on Halo PC with HMT, almost the same identical program. But I didn't not mod Halo 2 before.

ok. i like mods like this. 9.5/10. I dl it but when i apply the ppf patch to turf in dothalo and fix the sig the FTP it to my xbox. I cant play it. its just regular turf. I dont whats wrong. i do have the allied map-pack too if that might be the prob. :(

Did you make sure you actually put the modded version on the map you were FTP'ing? Did you not swap it with the original?

Yes i made sure i swaped it with the origninal turf. It seem i can only apply SPPFs, those work well with me.
