Ok I am not sure that the name fits this mod/skin but its the only thing I could think of.

-New Sky
-Whole Map re-skinned
-2 new models(Sniper & plasma rifle)
-Driveable shadow with new skin
-Scarab gun replaces BR
-plasma pistol charged shoots Miranda(lol I was bored)

If anyone can think of a name that better suites this mod then lemme know and I will change it and give credit.

Yea actually it is my 3rd mod ever. I am quite new to this but I do know a little bit about a little bit if you know what I mean.

well....i like the models

Howdy. I realize mods don't do anything here without pics, so I spent the last few days trying to figure out XIG so I can take pics of my skins. I thought, though, that I might as well randomly take pics of peoples' skins/mods for them to give them something to go by, so here you are. My reviews of the mod will follow the pictures.

So, my review: I thought it was a nice mod/skin. I enjoyed the models, though the textures on them wouldn't appear until you were very close. The skin on the shadow and the rocks does the same thing (goes black if you're not close). It's not uncommon for skins, but can be fixed (usually very minor errors in saving the skins causes it for me). I also didn't like the super high jump as I couldn't very easily climb into the shadow, but that wasn't important to me.

In all, it was a nicely done map. I enjoyed the time spent in creating it, and look forward to more mods/skins in the futhre from you!

~EDIT~ so, I charged up and shot the plasma pistol, and it froze my xbox. Just letting you know if you wanted to check that out and possibly fix it.

You should redo this. i would have but dot halo and insolence won't open it.
1)Turn the jump down for one thing because i'ts harder then hell to shoot some one when there jumping like that.
2) Make the sniper like fully auto. (that would be cool excpesially with the skin that you put on it) Just turn down the damage effect for the sniper bullet.
3) There is a shading problem when you run around and i highley doubt that you can fix that so i'll just leave that part alone
4) other then that it's all pretty good. Except the name. you should change it to something different because i don't see anything isladey abou that except for the ground/rock skin. The sky dosn't make it look islandey either. (Recomendation, just change it to like a zanzabar skin. then it would be a little more Islandy.
5) Who cares about my spelling because i've been up all night and day.
6)could you help me skin that's about the only thing that i havn't been able to figure out i have everything that i need photo shop i've even loaded upt the .dds in photshop. Do i just change it there and be done or 7)good job on the scarab and the shadow thing. I'm trying to find out how to put a pelican on a map like that. (i am also trying to make my own map like they did on the memis project(screw spelling). Because if i could make a nice wide open map and put about 2 pelicans on each side it would be awsome.....

Ok first my fault on not changing the jump hieght. It was like that because I was checking how the skin turned out from a birds eye view. Second the shaders might be messed up on the new models but as far as the skins go, I dont know how to fix the mip maps. Meaning when you get far away they turn black. If you wanna learn to skin the search the tutorials, and if you still cant figure it out, then lemme know.

This looks really cool, but when I FTP the map over to my xbox after applying the patch and everything. It fails to load the map for Coag. Any ideas why?

How would I do that. I followed the tut and one worked fine this one gave me trouble

Anyway, I think this is a realy cool mod. Love the Shadow (nice skin on that) Now if only someone could turn the blue ground into water, then this would be awesome
