First off before introducing my mod im dedicating this mod to those evil people who flamed zenon behind his back (you know who you are) about active scenery, and to the people who flame and insult people who have used active scenery in their mods in the past...Im doing this because im showing you that active scenery can be used in more than one way, it just takes more than a person who flames others to realise this...

Now that that is out of the way I Present you with "Raining Ascension"! For all those people who are a bit wierd this mod is for ascension...

Story:
A millenia after the first encounter with the Covenant, the forerunner base called "ascension" has long since been forgotten...until now...
An ancient technology has been brewing there for some time now known as the Golden Camo which grants the user unlimited Camoflauge.
Now all forces are out to get this technology and YOU have to get there first :D

Features:
Human Weapons on map
can hold up to 8 frag grenades (no plasma's)
raining level
turret added.
Golden magnum with increased clip. its now a man instead of a baby...
A skin made by me for once (ScottyGEE not greennc ;))
And of course, a fun level....

damn i should stop blabbering...PICS!!!

GAMA: for alot :D

Enjoy ;)

Note: just incase some silly person asks this is system link compatable...unless of course it somehow (would be very curious too) that it isnt as i didnt add anything really...

Note#2: it isnt downpouring....its more of a shower...as u cannot have it really any quicker...and i cant go past 100 collections to my knowledge...

ScottyGEE, this is a seriously awesome map. I love the rain. It's in many ways more convincing than the rain that bungie made! The amount of rain, the spash of the droplets, everything! Good work!

I'm thrilled about you inventing a whole new type of gameplay. Active camo would be really fun in this level, and especially if it's unlimited (well, till you die).

I'd also like to tell you that your skin looks way cool. It really flows with the weather that you created. I like how it's a very live ground sourrounding old and rusted structures. It was a nice addition making the spinning thing not spin anymore. If it were indeed abandoned for centuries, there's no way it'd be able to spin any more.

Excellent job. It was a blast to play!

Bangarang, ScottyGEE

Cool you released it!

BTW: if you want to make it a little more random on the rain, copy the proj about 10 times then change their weights to different amounts. Go to the vehc (or itmc, forget which....) and add that many chunks to it, then go through those and replace the dependencies with the new ones, then go and put all the spawns at a slight angle. If halo 2 still has the same coding from halo 1, you should get random spawns from the 11 (or how ever many) projectiles, all droping to different places because of the different weights

edit:ps, did you change the "The 1337 meteors got you" message(when you die for no reason)?

Cool map , but for suggestion, Chad said something bout active camo? Im thinking you should skin the Active camo chiefs and make them Brown See through, so they are just Camo, but its not Retarded to aim. But only when you pick up an active camo. BTW, I like the skin on the shotgun, its cool.

No, then we would see THOUSANDS of those. He aready gave out some valuable info though, its not real weather, its active scenery.
