[Mod] Pyrotica v2 Major Update *Pics and Vid* Now MPEG too

Ok well I've changed it a lot and I think its a lot better. There may be one final update with some good active scenery and fires if we can get it working. Moderators you can delete the other thread as Munsie wasn't on so i couldn't tell him to edit his post.

This is by:
Munsie (starting project)
TunesRus90 (updating project)
Jamesr66a (working on the Active Scenery now)

Mod Changes:
-Hog on map (new location since v.1)
-Changed Barrel shaders (no more christmas barrel :P )
-Chaned Barrel explosion effect
-Lightmapped
-New UZI model and SMG modified to be more like an UZI
-new lift effect (improved since v.1, no more purple fire )
-All Human weapons

The pics and Vid look kind of dark, but the map is actually a good brightness when played on the xbox

Here is a PPF, but since I internalized and skinned the new model, it had to be a sized PPF and is therefore 14 megs so i recommend using the serenity if you can

you should make the fusion barrel things normal colors on the red parts, the inside looks awesome but the red is just too much, the models look tight, and i have seen the flaming gravity lift thing done too many times. but it still looks like a good mod.

Great job dude this looks really cool and really smooth
It goes with collosus but i agree with Pyroman it needs effects

the lightmaps look hardly changed...but i havnt played the original colususs in ages...

well the original lightmap had a red and blue side, so i made the whole thing darker and kind of orangish. And thanks for the feedback. Like i said James is working on some Active Scenery and when he finishes (although there have been some problems) I'll change the barrels cause I don't really like them either, and maybe add some effects if I get a chance.

Thats really good mod! The lightmap tool you guys used didnt really changed the feel of the map maybe you might want someone to Reskin or retexture the map.(Look at my Sig and then clik the aim button and hope im on lol)

Looks neat, but I'm really sick of maps that are too dark to see anything. The only time I really enjoy a dark map is when the darkness becomes a primary gameplay element (i.e. Cassiopeia).


I might download this and give it a shot anyways. No rating, since I haven't played it.

I totally agree. Haven't we seen enough dark maps already.

Yeah but i removed the entire purplish-glow which involved more than just changing the [effe] tag :D
