So, here's 3 skins I did. I'm not too happy with the brick skin, but then again I'm not too happy with how Bungie made the building skins so repedative (I can't spell, so I hope I got that right).

Anyway, I added the following:

Bricks on some of the buildings

Concrete texture on some of the buildings (I think this one goes well with the theme)

Dried/cracked mud for the ground in the center of the map (looks alright)


If you don't like the bricks or any of the other skins, let me know and I'll try to fix 'em. I'll keep trying to add more a little at a time...
Also, if anyone has any spicific skins they want me to try, please ask. I can't make guarentees, but I like ideas.

testing phase activated...
except for the models...im not gonna inject them straight away but i will be putting them in soon enough :P

Heres hoping i dont ruin the map somehow

I wasn't too hapy with my other needler model so I made a new one.
here are pics.

I have a ppf but it's for coagulation because don't know how to inject a model into headlong. So if it's not to much trouble I was hoping Scotty could inject the fp, 3p and needler shard model into headlong. It would also probably be better if you changed the shader. Sorry for the trouble, I'm pretty busy (for a 12 year old). Oh and Voodoo you can use this model.

hmmm did anyone actually TEST there serenity patches?
unless your using a diff version (1.0) or used a different source map compared to the original these dont want to work. the some skins by chad dont work
the models dont but i can easyil just inject them myself.

but i have put in mission blade's and enano's effects and im gonna put in the skins and the lightmaps so yeah hi!

TnG thanks for the feedback but knives? I was thinking more along the lines of it shooting grenades :P

The problem stated above is why i included everything about the models....so scotty when do ya think it'll be done...Saterday night or midday?

idk it from the first model the top one.. it looked nice but since the barrel was thin i couldnt imagine it shooting grenades..but if it shot like knives idk ur model nicejob but dont replace the bruteshot.. just add the thing to the map

trust me it has a much larger barrel than the brute shot lol but then again the brute shot is wierd so yeh :?

The main reasons I didn't make a completely new model is because if the placement of the model is wrong on milkshape 3d or something, it is also messed up in the actual game for ME. Also because I suck.

every model that has been submittede im going to use...
pretty much same with skins
ive decided to make the tank an EMP tank...as in...it takes out ur shield and ur stunned...its gret considering the tank has its machine gun...

dammit i tested in game and i think it'd just look better if you replaced the shotgun model with it (i mean dupe the shotty weap in insolence and dammit gimme a sec to fix the model)

EDIT: ok this is gunna be annoying just inject the fp_meta and 3p_meta included then dupe the shotty then replace its model tags with the ones you injected...in other words dont bother about the brute shot use the shotgun as the base and just dupe it so you dont have to get rid of my other model for shotty :P

this will be awesome if it doesnt get overloaded with crazy flashing lights and bright colors, when i see human weapons i want to see effects that are practical. if its a covenant weapon its nice to see a few crazy colors or laser beams but when you get like floating rings and super explosions everytime you shoot anygun it gets a little annoying.

p.s.
i also love that shotgun model up there, its beautiful. anyone remember that chaingun that was made out of the rocket launcher that someone made for coagulation but never made an actual ppf for? that would look sweet with that shotgun, really fits the theme.

p.s.s.
you should ad a laser sight to the grenade launcher/shotgun above my post, that one where its the second function of the gun.

Hey, sorry that my previous attempt at the serenity skins didn't work... Here's try #2. I made a PPF this time, and it works for me. I think I figured out what was wrong, so it should work. If it doesn't work for you guys again, I got to do some serious checking into this. Anyway, hope the skins are good enough for you all. If not, let me know what I could do better (the bricks already might need improvment)

This mod should be cool when it's done.

I will not conclude with my usual signature.

thx deathbysn00sn00 , and yes i have been thinking about making a hand held chain gun but cause the barrel wouldn't spin and cause of that I think it would be not the best but hey it'll look good...
