Killtrocity was a great mappack, there is no reason to make a statement like that. Besides, as was stated before, they are completely different.

Yes as a matter of fact it is just Bitmaps, Models, And Meta. When you come across a mod that is something other then this you let me know cause ive yet to see any. I cant image what u could possibly do without these things besides a BSP conversion or standard map edits like adding water and fog.

Really? like your skateboarding idea.....? ha... And btw, its very possible to replicate Halo 3 uses Halo 2... No not the graphics. No not every button it uses... But we can dam well get everything else pretty accurate thats why its called replicating it. Not Copying it.

Why would anyone even bash a mod like this? The ones that do don't know what modding is...
The mod is great, it is pushing all that we have learned from modding into halo 2 and into a mappack. This mod piece right here may not be a mappack but it is a taste of what to come. Sometimes you just want to strangle someone, but of course that is what video games are for!

Less statements about who cant give criticism or who's overreacting more constructive criticism and opinions. Let it go, this is the internets, not the elementary school playground.

Personally i find the map names hard to see in the UI when you change maps because of the bright background. Maybe make the map names darker in future updates so they're easier to see.

Okay; I'll take this opportunity to bash this mod :D

All the skins for the weapons with a few rare exceptions are way to light, also despite some "un-likable" side-effects there should be more shine on certain models. Bumpmaps are lacking.

Sounds: some are not there, some stop working, and you know >_> some just are not riiiight...

Gameplay: WTF happened to let the pistol get that powerful AND remain dual-weildable >_> I mean you can't have BOTH!

New vehicles... they need to be weakened! I don't mean speed edits or anything but some things I have noticed are that the mongoose is VERY heavy (And to easy to get splatter kills). The mongoose can drive over a trip mine without dying >_> LOL, I pwn nubs that way BTW :p

Mauler... needs to have a dampener set on the range of the projectiles, or at least more of a spread. Also the projectiles contrail seem weird to me...

Spike grenade has an awkward lag when you throw it (compare the plasma and the spike grenades and you'll see it).

As mentioned before, new vehicles stuck by spike grenades do not have enough damage inflicted upon them...

Trip mine arms itself WAY to quickly! There should be at least a three second delay to that thing... I makes it too easy right now to turn in into a kamikaze device >_>

Bubble shield >_> Oh! I know how to UV map it now :D But yea >_> some of those oddities are a little annoying. Also the bubble shield needs to be a bit bigger, which is now possible thanks to the fact that collision is editable and so is phmo!

Brute Spiker Gun, too big in my opinion... I always seemed to think of it as a pistolish weapon from the screenshots. Correct me if I am wrong that its too big in 3volved though.

Also the jmad for that gun needs work, when single weilding he holds it very oddly, same with dual-weilding!

The PHMO of the mongoose extends to far underneith and can cause some awkard flip when hitting valleys :p

the jmad of the mongoose Spartan.. his head shouldn't be so far down like that. it just wrong... He should look FORWARD!

I pwn nubs on the base with spike nades :p

Where is the sniper...

The mainmenu has to be fixed so that people with crappy 'standard' definition tv's can see certain options :p

agree on most,

some text needs to be edited, as in hold x to pick up mauler ammo lol, and hold x to take ally's weapon instead of hold x to flip prowler. the prowler way way to strong lol, the mongoose as jackson said is too heavy. trip mine needs a delay and needs the blast radius to be a little smaller not much. spiker is really big, yes jackson its supposed to be more pistolish. mauler is fine by me the skin needs to be darker thats all the contrail is fine to me and the bullets.

i thought id pitch in lol, i know its a beta so don't go off on that its really bad ars guys keep it up those are just like the few things i noticed. oh and you need to make the equipment limit 1 or fix it so you don't throw all the equipment at one time. 8) other than that 1337 can't wait for the final. or lockout to be released lol

Yea >_> adding a limit would have been easy to do actually, I've never been able to keep from throwing my equipment long enough to collect multiple ammo though :p

Oh... the 3rd person models of the equipment... they are awkward because the stay even when there is no "ammo"... Could be used to cheap-out players...like make them think your gonna blow the shit out of them :D

Really too bad aged weapons are not SLC... so many options there...

I can change that but then if there's a vehicle in front of you going to splatter you you'll drop the tripmine and if the time it's activated 4 second later the vehicle will have the time to roll over it without exploding, that's what happen with mongoose.
If you want to drop it without exploding just drop it and fall back.

Oh how many people told it is possible but never got it working! oh oh just stop talking and make smething instead of complaining.
Just Dec who made the model instead of a texture but it cannot be injected :(

And this mod is not just bitmap changes, making the equipement vehicles and weapons working fine was not easy, it's not a waste of time some people here cannot but H3, and playing the mod on syslink seems to be fun.

Dude, Killtrocity might of not gotten as much posts as quick as this one, but hell, The killtrocity map pack Definitely had more time put into this then this mod, And the killtrocity map packs are the most best packs I have ever played in my modding career and I know people will say the same, So to say its not as good is completely ridiculous in every way possible. Plus this is just 1 map, not over 20.....

Any news on when a new map will be released? Or at least a glitch fix for coagulation?

Well, when playing with the trip mine, I've had a chopper run over it, survive, and I die instead, despite having gotten at least 5 or 6 lengths of the chopper away.

Wow this is cool and i want to say when u dual a spiker it is more towards the middle than the left so check that out and keep up the good job!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing I have to add besides whats been said 10,000 times is that it needs more weapons. Not like the spartan laser (even though it IS needed :wink: ), but Halo 2 weapons. For example, there needs to be a spawn for the sniper rifle and the battle rifle.
