I tried those things, but i didn't help.
But when i started the game through Yelo it helped, so i guess that was what i was missing
Anywas, i still have some qustions in the short amount of time i got to play.
Are you not supposed to see you FP arms/weapon?
I got to go now, but ill try see if anything in yelo causes this.
Edit: I tried to disable a couple of things in Yelo, but there is still no gun or fp arms visible, but there is a hud at least. Also a slight delay on the scope, but i guess that has to do with overloading.
This is how it looks at the moment:
Option 1 - "disable auto update" (enabled)
Option 2 - Developers mode (disabled)
Option 3 - invincibility (disabled)
Option 4 - infinite ammo (disabled)
Option 5 - infinite grenades (disabled)
Option 6 - one hit sniper kills (disabled)
Option 7 - bypass map checksum (enabled)
Option 8 - chinematic biped (enabled)
Option 9 - chinematic LOD's (enabled)
Option 10 - MP AI enable (enabled)
Option 11 - debug output (enabled)
Option 12 - envy (disabled)
Option 13 - grunt birthday (disabled)
Option 14 - Assassins (disabled)
Option 15 - Thunderstorm (disabled)
Option 16 - Famine (disabled)
Option 17 - IWHBYD (disabled)
Option 18 - Blind (disabled)
Option 19 - Iron (disabled)
Option 20 - Black Eye (disabled)
Option 21 - Catch (disabled)
Option 22 - Sputnik (disabled)
Option 23 - Ghost (disabled)
Option 24 - Mythic (disabled)
Option 25 - Angry (disabled)
Option 26 - Blam (disabled)

I think you have to use Insolence, to transfer the elite_mp biped.
I too have a problem: when I go to chase after the 3 shades in my ghost,
everything apart from the bsp disappears and freezes the game. - Found the cause, Dark went overboard with Shadow/Creep spawns: Too much = XD
btw why doesn't everyone not add the campaign maps to their multiplayer menu by using Prey's app:
menu menu menu its easier than replacing.

All your doing is duplicating campaign slots in MP,
If you're worried about slots, get neodos's 1000 mainmenu
