So you are saying i didnt have to have the broomstick in my mod, and i didnt need the pumpkin cannon in my mod. Because i think thats as halloween as you can get. If i got rid of all that it would be just a map skin, lightmap and weapon changes.

I didn't miss the old HLWN contests Great job on the mod, HSM, I love the theme of the map, and the Jackal shield and Carbine look hawt

Your making a mod based on your ideas of halloween. You'll then have people vote on which mod they like best based on if they think its Halloween-y enough or if they just like the mod...

Chad clearly outlined that ti doesnt necesarily have to be spiders... it can be about scaryness....

He added effects to it and made a depletion effect, I'm not sucking up. Try not to take offence to something trivial like that

ok, about the halloween pumkin and no true halloween spirit, i was just saying that the plasma shield would look kool if it had a pumkin on it or skinned orange. im not saying that the skin should determine if it is halloween or not. i was just stating a sugestion. my own opinion and sure i like scary things but at the moment i dont think i can think of anything that would be good on this mod.

also im not saying that this isnt halloween based. I think its a lovely halloween mod. Youv got my vote

Putting a pumpkin image on a shield in a mod like this would detract from the feel, as I said earlier. This map is supposed to be 'scary,' adding something silly like that would just be stupid, in this instance of course.

Look at the picture again, there's an effect surrounding the shield and I'm pretty sure the shaders/skin has been edited, so no, there's really nothing wrong with my wording.

Well, I like the mod and I think it should be allowed in the contest. I mean are you guys really going to throw a fit because Faisal didn't add a pumpkin? Seriously, come on. This was a fun map to play, I really liked it. Good job.

ok. I will explain this really quickly. I wasnt throwing a fit. I said the mod was fantastic as it is but in my opinion is said he should add a pumkin(i was just joking). No big deal. now can we stop talking about the pumkin. Im sure headshot is getting sick of his post being spamed about a pumkin

It all depends on what your idea of Halloween is... People seem to think pumpkins and getting lollies is all it is...
It was about warding off evil spirits in that *** crazy Ireland so maybe faisal decided to make it scary, having evil spiritual things in the map instead of "0m6 175 |1k3 4|| 480u7 7h3 pumpk1n5 7h47 5m1|3 47 j00

and I think this is plenty halloween themed, it doesn't have to be that tacky "omfg l0lip0p 4 u/pumpin 101010elleven!" Half of halloween is scry/creepy atmosphere and thus he made it that way. The pumpkin is overused, way too much, I think the new official plant of halloween should just be a mishapen gord, because no one will be able to model it.

this mod has my DL and vote (which probably doesn't count or amount to anything but that's besides the point)
