Amazing stuff. Too bad I can't test till friday. Sounds great though.

ok so basically here is my honest opion on it and please take all of this as constructive critisism. i think you did a great job on it, it's not a bad bsp to use, it kind of reminds me of playing catacombs by tsf the first time, it was awesome to just play a new map, but the more i got into it the more i started to realise it just wasnt good for gameplay at all. i think the only feesible(sp?) way to make this a playable map would be to drop 20 or so banshees in there about 10 scorpion tanks and a crap load of rocket launchers and flak cannons. maybe if you added some obj in there too like a covie watch tower or something maybe add a few machs that would fit the theme. basically right now the idea is great but the map is'nt really fun to play. 10/10 for effort but i honestly would never play this with friends unless it had a huge ammount of stuff added, it's just too big and everything looks alike.

little problems i found:

the guns and ammo and grenades fly across the map when they spawn.
it freezes when you come to close or shoot the pillars (things the elevator comes in contact with) and sometimes when you look at things from certain angles i see a whole bunch of bright crazy colors (only happened twice)

very impressive mod and i would love to see you keep it up but my opinion is try a bsp thats a little more playable multiplayer wise, i know theres lots of variables that make you decide which one to choose but stretch your abilities at modding cause i know you can make a hell of a good one.

maybe the metro bridge one of these days?

Yeah you are right it is kinda a dull bsp to play :P and the freezing things a big downside.. i just used this a stepping stone to build my way up to bigger better bsp's, so i should have some better ones coming :D

well i look forward to seeing good things from you. (this is one of them, it's just not that fun)

i went into dothalo and changed all the itmc's to banshees and hogs and tanks and its honestly a little better, though every few minutes it rains vehicles from the sky cause the spawns are so high up, lol :D

i also reskinned it so i could see better, i gave it a montana desert theme. looks kinda good....

is it really necessary to take what i said completely out of context? it was never a negative opinion. it was a completley positive opinion with some constructive critisism in it, all i did in that post you quoted was state that i tried a little something and i thought it improved his mod vastly. most people when they make a mod make it for enjoyment, so i dont know about you or him or anyone else, but i like to hear what could possibly make it better. take it as you will shade45 didnt get offended and i'm not going and trying to release this i just did it for my own enjoyment no one got hurt so if you want to try and flame me or something do it in a pm cause i'm not going to ruin his topic. good day to you sir! 8)

Hey shade, couldn't you move the collision vertices up where the transition area is, to prevent the player from going there?

Yeah i didnt take any of it offensivly i'd rather hear someones honest opionion becouse it will help me improve for future mods... well most of the time :P

very nice but can u explain a little bit more about how u make a bsp conversion.....(i know how to edit bsp but i want to make whole new maps not a mountain in coag lol )
