That would be because its not a real reflection, since the water is vertical and I had the camera at a certain angle it is fooled to adding the underwater effect to the object on the wall. Giving it a "reflection". In theory the same would happen with a floating Ragdoll if you had the camera pointing down from above it.WhackyTobacky wrote:Found a bug on screenshot No.9, there's no flashfire in the water's reflection. Oh and how come the water is reflecting the wrong side of Master Chief?!
UPDATE: This Map is on the Mimesis site, go vote for it

Yeah I understand it's an artifical reflection, but do you really need it facing the wrong side of objects? Can't you just turn the camera around?

Its not even a reflection it at all, the Game Engine is just fooled into thinking that the object is behind the water so it casts the watery glare onto the screen, I'll get some pics explaining this.WhackyTobacky wrote:Yeah I understand it's an artifical reflection, but do you really need it facing the wrong side of objects? This is because it is a fully completed mod that seems to have no problems what so ever. Great J:Pb! (See the smiley is the O; clever eh?).

That's why I called it artifical! As I said before, why not turn the camera around so it's facing the back of an object instead of the front.UpsetSpy wrote:Its not even a reflection it at all, the Game Engine is just fooled into thinking that the object is behind the water so it casts the watery glare onto the screen, I'll get some pics explaining this.WhackyTobacky wrote:Yeah I understand it's an artifical reflection, but do you really need it facing the wrong side of objects? Because then the camera would be inside the wall and you would not see the waterfallWhackyTobacky wrote: That's why I called it artifical! As I said before, why not turn the camera around so it's facing the back of an object instead of the front.

I'm sure todays apps help out a lot, my first mod may of you probably know it was "Halo2: ModernCombat" or "ZanzibarIsland". All I can thank for coming from that to this is my patience and all the people who made these awesome applications. And I'm hoping to help keep Halomods out of a free fall. At least for a long time. (Maybe even help Mimesis out of its drought its been having, they've been getting decent content but its loaded with bugs or just not polished)newbymodder wrote: lmao yes very clever indeed yes im glad this mod came out it just goes to show this site is not on its downfall as long as experienced modders keep submitting things such as this the site will last till we start modding halo 3very good job you said it was your 2nd finished mod? im really impressed my first and second mod were no where close to this good

beautiful mod and great fixes. I haven't been on the computer in a while, and it encourages me to fix my mods. So, around Monday, expect a re-release of 3 of my mods with time and effort spent on them. Also, everything will be fixed for them to be released on mimesis. Thanks for updating the mod, I love it.

If you take a bunch of pictures of the same scene, you can use programs to edit them together into the same scene. A really common, free, and really good program that does this is autostitch.

you can edit your mainmenu on a 360???? what?drxthirst2 wrote:VERY NICE. I loved the beta of this mod, and I can't wait to get it onto my 360 to see it in its full HD glory. Beautiful mod, great work, definitely earns a spot on my mainmenu.

Thank you Tural for removing me from the readers club, you are a very generous and considerate person.
