Working Halo 3 Bubble Shield

ok guys after much ponderin' and talking with ninja modder and detox i found out how to give it a timer so that only it lasts are certain amount of time. testing now, ill get back to you guys on it.

What do u mean like making the shield itself a projectile then giving the projectile a lifespan, because that would work

Still no word on nulling the phmo to make it an actual shield?

I tried it, but I just play more than work on mods and when I null it out it just resets back to the default value.

BTW, Rain, that's an excellent idea. This is a pretty sweet little group project we have going on here, but I can't think of anyway I can contribute.

well good news. it works, only i cant get protection to work. a problem that ninja modder seems to have gotten by.

Wow thanks for all your help guys! And you can use this bubble shield in your mod it don't matter. And btw you made the bubble shield have a timer on it? Lets see(upload).

Well, if you did, as you say, get a working life span, the span on the real Bubble Shield is 15 seconds.

if ya'll are having trouble with the life spawn idk im not a good modder but mabey since it is a bomb you could take the arm time and make it work for the bomb idk since you only arm a bomb on certain parts of a map like in bases ect probably wouldn't work but mabey you could make the timer be form the recharge of the players sheilds just reverse the effect im just throwing ideas out there as a i said i am by no means a awesome modder idk if this stuff is possible

Try watching the beta vids that are on youtube to see the timer of the actual halo 3 bubble shield.

Its not hard to make at all, and I didn't see this as an accomplishment really, Someone made a bubble shield when the halo 3 commercial came out too...
So he beat you... And I don't think it should even matter.

I don't remember who (I think it was TBZ or turk), but I'm positive you didn't make the bubble shield in Halo 2 first.
