In conclusion:
Thank you for all who participated in any way. This was a great contest and it was handled very well by each of you in the community. I would like to commend you on its success. I have not seen a Halomods contest with fewer complaints and with more pleasant attitudes. Whether we are allowed future official contests in the future or not, I personally feel as if you have earned it. Good work!

You guys (modders and voters alike) did an excellent job (with the exception of a certain person who thought it would be best to both PM me about a problem and throw a fit about it publicly). I enjoyed running the contest and hope to do another contest in the future.

Also, congratulations to PyroBlizzard and Cragsterboy for winning the contest. It was a tough battle. As for the rewards: if Stick chooses to give either of you (or both) the Xbox live pass, it's up to him. Also, it will be up to the halomods.com staff as to whether or not you both get the Haloween Winner avatar. I would suggest, in case you don't both get it, you decide who is to receive it.

Darkness in the mist

after downloading i found that the atmosphere and theme despite the lack of usual ahlloween features felt extremeley well made and beautiful.

Mischief Night

Darkness in the Mist is to basic IMO, All I see is a little darker map with difffrent effects, while Mischief Night has some new effects , but also has new models and a nice skin.

I have pm'd chad saying there should be a rule that you cant vote for yourself but this was his reply:

I thought about making it so you couldn't vote for yourself, but then I realized that what if a person, like yourself, really and honestly thought that their own mod was the best? There would be no reason for them to vote for a mod they thought to be second best, would there? I'm hoping that by doing this it will require people to take some accountability and be honest, rather than assume they would be otherwise dishonest, if that makes sense.

Lets keep this on topic and if u have a problem pm chad.
