so you have on their old maps can i still download the pack and put it on dvd and only play like 23 maps? since i cant get too old maps?

Umm i kinda did it all correctly.. the menu loads up fine and everything when i start a map it just starts kicks me back to the multiplayer menu(1 player) or the sign into profile menu (with 2+ players) i have the updates so im guessing ive got to delete them?

I am newbie so don't get mad, I have the map pack working great on my xbox. but i don't like jumping between Halo2 and the map pack. I looke every where to find the answer to this question. So i want to know if its possible to add all the map pack maps to halo 2.

that way i don't have to jump between halo2 and the map pack and all the maps at one place?

Not possible.

Halo 2 mainmenu can only hold 50 maps.

You can use the Killtrocity mainmenu with all of your Killtrocity maps in the maps folder, and also put all of your original maps in the same maps folder. Then when you go on XBC or KAI, you can play the Killtrocity, or if you join another room and let's say, if they're playing an original map, you can join and it will load the un-modded map file from your maps folder. But, you can't access it yourself from your mainmenu if you do it that way.

Ok, I've had the Killtrocity pack for a while now. Love it. But I've had problems with the mainmenu, so I decided to replace the killtrocity Mainmenu (I know it's a sin because it's so damn beautiful) with the original Mainmenu. I would just load the maps off of someone else's host. I deleted my backup of the Pack on my PC and was wondering if anyone could Post the patch for the mainmenu. (Soon preferably, I'm going outta town and wanted to show my buddy how sweet halo 2 modding can be.)

This morning I started downloading this, I wasnt expecting it to be done when I got home. Im home now and I have seeded over 800MB's so I guess I'll just keep seeding... honestly I was gonna just leech it. Thanks, im gonan go try it out now!

Ummm... i guess I expected too much from this Map Pack. There is a few fun maps on here, but the majority of them is boring. The ones I found boring got a little better when I was online. Its not worth the space on your harddrive though.

But now I have another question, can I put the whole thing on a DVD the same way I would make a game backup using an ISO, or would that not work?

ok everyone i really want this mappack and i got everything in order i used all of the read-me's and it still doesnt work when i use the auto-patcher all the maps get patched but they disappear they dont go anywhere on my computer not in the modified maps folder or anywhere

No uploading of full .map files.

they weren't map files.. although the server DID contain .map files
the link he gave was full of cheating mappacks... and the old version of killtrocity.
captain i reckon you read some rules before posting again.
