Inmate (Prisoner Mod)

This is a mod that I've had the idea of for quite some time. MrMurder's blocks have now made this possible. It feels like a whole new level.

All floors have been filled in. Flags have been moved up into the windows (they look cool up there :D ). You have to leap from the platform to the window to get the flag. Teleporters have been added to the center tower on the 1st and 2nd floor.

Post any feedback you may have on this as I may keep working on it.

YES! finnaly a prisoner mod, i love to play it with 50% health no shields and shotties, but anyways this mod is awesome, and when i play it a little more ill give you some suggestions to improve it (if you want to).

Yes, please give ideas. I didn't change any weapons around with it but I did add a few extra rockets. I'm considering adding a ghost to the first two floors.

the only problem i found so far is that one of the ramps is a little uneven , i think on both sides, you have to jump at the top of it...no biggy.

nice mod man, i'm working on a prisoner mod but i think i will have to rethink it now that i've seen what you've done, :)

The scorpion skin was real annoying so I replaced it with a better bitmap. This improves the mod 100%. It looks a lot better in game than in SparkEdit.

how do u change the skin
just extract with HMT, then open it with photoshop
then reinject?

Wow, I've been wondering what those blocks were skinned with. I just couldn't put my finger on it. I was thinking the scorpion but the exhaust pipe thingy threw me off. I'll go check this skin out now.

EDIT:: This is a nice skin, IMHO. I guess now people have a choice. 8)

i dont think it's and exhaust pipe..........that the turrent part of the tank where the shell comes out of

The mod is set up so that the blocks depend on the scorpion body skin. The scorpion body was DXT1, 512 x 512. I saved a new 512 x 512 bitmap to put over it, but it was DXT2/3, so I opened it in Photoshop and saved it as DXT3. Then reinjected over the scorpion.

awsome i fezzman i was waiting for someone to quit doing blood gulch mods a sidewinder mods, im guilty of it as well as others, and do a good stage, might you consider doing rat race next?

Wow, I totally forgot about ratrace. I never play that map for some reason. It's definately got potential though. I started toying around with Longest last night for the hell of it. I dunno about what I've done so far...may just scrap it and try RR instead. There is only so much that can be done in such a small area.

hey fezz i got an idea for RR if you want to know just pm me and ill give the datails i would do it but the job was appointed at you and im currently working on a new map aswell as sain.

i have no name for my map if you want to think of one and you need a pic i'll either post it in here if thats allright with fezzman or i'll just send it thru pm, it dont matter cuz it all good.

For the sake of simplicity you can post it here. I'm not too worried that somebody will steal the idea...if they do then it'll save me the work and will probably turn out better anyways. :P I'll give it a stab though.

I know that this is silly and probably not possible, but wouldn't it be cool to have transparent blocks in its place.

That way you could still see the person but not shoot them. Just a thought.
