InSideWinder mod

I sat down tonight like a good boy and played with my blocks. :lol:

This mod was made possible because of Allister's blocks and Spammy's FRG. Thanks guys.

Basically I've blocked off all access to the lower ground. The flags have been moved to where the powerups used to be. It's kinda cool to see each flag through the slats. I added a low block between the flags to prevent people from glitching through to get the other flag.

The teleporters in each tower take you to the other tower, thus making a big loop. A game type with all vehicles will give you 2 ghosts at each base. Powerups have been re-located and Spammy's FRG has been added.

I hate looking at SE pics of mods but this is the best I could do. I only included one pic to give a rough idea of what I did. I didn't remove the warthog or scorpion because I may use them somehow later.

Basically I just wanted to be the first on the block to have a mod with Allister's blocks. :P I think this will make for an intense ctf/team slayer map though. I won't get to try it out with numerous peeps until tomorrow though.

This can be considered an early version. Please give some input as to what may better this map. I toyed around with the idea of adding teleporters up to the roof with the skylights in the middle of the map. I kinda like it to be a tight map though (more action that way).

Enjoy it or hate it...here it is.

EDIT:: Sorry, first ppf didn't have the block between the flags. The block is there it is just invisible. Just try shooting under the two short pillars and you'll see it's there.

i have heard that woot is meant to be a sound an owl makes.
But besides that the map looks great, if i could play it i would probably be able to say alot more about it.

heres an idea, somthin i did for pc. over by the montain side where a rocket is located and u have that little bridge, use the middle section between each side of the bridge to make a big room using blocks. and in order to get to the room a portal has to take u there. do u get wut im sayin?

Thanks. I was hoping you wouldn't mind me using your mod. One of these days I'll actually buy batteries for my camera and will be able to post real pics.

On a side note, I tried a few experiments last night. I'm sure I'm not the first to have tried them but have not read about them anywhere. First, there seems to be no collision to the topside of the tunnels. Sucks because I had a few ideas there. Second, blocks don't seem to show up if you put them UNDER the map. I placed a few blocks under the map with a teleporter on them. When I went to teleport I just ended up falling under the map...no blocks to land on. Hey, I was bored. :lol:

Stunna_X, I get what you're saying. Isn't this idea very similiar to the Plateau mod?
