Green Gulch Night N Tree N Plant N Halo 2
I wanted a map without the orange of blood gulch, so this map has the ground all covered in rich green grass, and the cliffs are from halo SP,with green growth on them. Swapped the dead 100 trees for broadleaves, lots of plants and greenery in the valley + 100 green trees. Sky has a new lava planet,night time, storm clouds,flying ghosts,weapon locations changed,Halo 2 weapons, all vehicals,skins,DrBy hog,black FOG,many more small changes. Now I put this together, but the credit for the parts should go to the right people,NiTrOsOxIdE,xorange,Boll,and others. My favorite thing to play with, is the textures and game play, I don't care to make weapon mods, the standard or Halo2 weapons are great as they are. But do what you want, this is to have FUN with any way you like

It's really cool how you can shoot while your driving in the warthog!
I think it would of been better with the actual rockets coming out of the rocket launchers..
why is it when I aim at the enemy it sticks on him almost like Auto Aim??

Well this is a file download section and you should ask in the forums. You would get flamed by some, but I will be brief and answer,because you ask me about my mod, and I like to be helpful

Several things and tools where used, HMTv3 to extract textures,DDS convert to convert from DDS to jpg and back,PhotoMax camera software to darken,crop,color change, or other,convert back, HMTv3 to inject back in to map, some things were borrowed because you need PhotoShop, to work on the DXT2 DXT3 textures,so I can only do DXT1. Night sky is a swap in HMT, BLACK FOG is changed with a sky plugin for HMT, or you can use HCE on Xbox,same way. The best thing to do is get this software and read the FAQs and use the search button on the forums and most of your questions will be answered. All the software you can get in the utilitys section,except the photo software. Have Fun

I think that ANY mod or upload to a site like this means it is in public domain and can be used or shared by anyone, just give credit to the people like NiTrOsOxIdE,if you can get a PAL Halo 2 weapon patch, who are mentioned in my post,so they are not left out
, although this would be just as fun with standard weapons. I know nothin about PAL, except it is a different TV transmission format, I have been ask to make a PAL version of some mods, but do not have any idea how to do that. As far as the textures go you should be able to get them out with HMTv3, as this is how they were put in. How much different is the PAL versions of HALO ?? You can use the HMT right? There were some swaps, to make the lava planet fit and I think it was a tree bark swap to fix a corrupted texture, that it overwrites partly. HMTv3, Cartagrapher, Spark Edit 3, Boll DrBy patch, were the tools used. My motto would be, Have FUN, the more the BETTER.

Great Mod by the way, I played this a lot when u first released it.

Yes the ghost is to strong, but still a lot of fun, use the tank and the hog to combat it. If you want, change it back or to something else, with Cartagrapher, or HMT, or HCE
You could also change the chaingun properties to what you like, rate of fire or distance reduced

1. Get a fresh Blood Gulch cache003.map.
2. Apply the PPF to cache003.map.
3. Open cache003.map in Spark Edit.
4. Save as a compressed map to bloodgulch.map.
5. Replace original bloodgulch.map with new bloodgulch.map.
6. Clear cache files.
7. Run Halo.
I'm interested in replacing the default map, not just playing from the cache. So, did I miss anything?
