This patch is for Bloodgulch NTSC. (although you won't really be in BG when you start play) :D

This is the Complex multiplayer level from Goldeneye 64.

Version 2 of my original Complex level. Sorry no new screenshots this time, you'll understand if you open this in sparkedit.

Whats new/fixed:
-Working secret areas!
-King of the Hill support
-Capture the flag support
-Added a few lights to the areas where they belong
-Fixed alot of walls that caused bouncing
-Cleaned up a lot of the visual glitches
-New lighter wall texture (still not authentic, but a nice change)

Still to come:
-Oddball support(to make this a fully playable level)
-More authentic wall textures(only if I can figure out how to get rid of a lot of the shadows, and only if you guys don't like the current texture enough)

It looks pretty sweet from the screenshots. It's too late here for me to try this out but I probably will tommorrow and tell you what I think. I think adding goldeneye weapons would be awesome, and even goldeneye sounds if you have enough time. Are you considering making any other goldeneye levels in the future (temple, facility)?

Yeah, I was thinking about doing temple. I would love to do the facility but I think these blocks might be too large to do that right.

Awesome

I found a small glitch. I can't remember where in the map but it's around the corner on one of the sniper spawns. It's a little hole in the wall that is just enough to jump and crouch onto. Then you get stuck in the block and/or fall. Also the ramp running down to the rockets you have to jump when going down. I know with testing the other mods this is a reoccring issue but i'm not sure if it could be cleared up any. Other than that this map is

Well pretty much anything that would cause you to fall through the floor was not meant to be stood on. But I guess we halo players aren't used to limitations, perhaps I'll keep that in mind for beta 2.0. I see what you mean about the ramp, you don't really have to jump but it is kinda wierd. Rest assured things of this nature will be resolved in the next version.

next room "south" of the body armor with the pillars had a wall/"grate"
you could walk through and hide

don't know what you could do about it besides change a different model to a building block without collision

and put that in front of a little room in that corner
or you can just ingore everything i said

good mod regardless

Yes, please please please make a PC version. I would but I'm a modd idiot, and I'd probably screw it up or something. It would be awesome. I remeber when Goldeneye was the best game ever...those were the days...

I have already put together ALL the of the hidden rooms and made fake walls to cover them. I am going to move all the King of the Hill objects up and clean some visualizations next. I hope to have a newer version available around thursday(work permitting).

I've come to realize that the wall textures are going to take some time to get perfect so they will have to wait for the final release. I'd make this for PC if I had the means, but unfortunatlyI do not..

I'm glad people seem to like this mod. Let me know if you have anymore suggestions.

i dont know if you guys noticed, but there is separate section for pc mods, i sugest you go there, and dont clog these threads with your requests.

Hehe, very nice... I do have one suggestion though: use different sorts of materials (use DeadlyShadow's tutorial), use tilable textures so that they overlap. That will make your map look very different an believable. ;)

Well I went to the tutorials just to see if there is anything more I can learn about changing the textures, and I didn't see any deadly shadow tuts. Is it in the forums still. I can do the textures but I think I'm doing it the hard way.
