NEW MAP: Frozen Canyon

EDIT: The file now is updated, I just fixed the bad spawn!


Finally, my first mod is comin out. Hope you all like it.
Below is a quick description of the map:
This map is a mod from Spammy SP --> MP conversion assault (aotcr outdoor). I got his permission to mod it so (thanx Spammy).
This map features two big bases with 2 floors, snipertowers and stuff. Its is set in a environment full of trees, rock and fallen trees. This map layout provide some great sniperspots ( 8 to be exactly). The two bases are seperated by a middle part. Which has a tunnel leading to one base. Also it features: Banshees, warthogs, Ghost, and homing rockets (to balance out the banshee).

The map plays TS and CTF (other gametypes on demand)
Works compressed and in system link

This is how to install:
- DL Spammy SP --> MP conversion here: http://www.halomaps.com/forums/files/spammy.rar and unrar it
- Download this patch
- patch Spammy_cache003 with frozen canyon.ppf, using ppf-o-matic (or something else)
- rename spammy_cache003 to cache003
-Overwrite cache003 in your x,y or z folder
- Play halo, chillout

with a few adjustments, that map right thur.. cud very well be the best ctf map ever...

suggestions... frg, flame thrower, energy sword, all vehicles(banshees, rocket hogs, mayb even wraiths. but i dont think u can have that many vehicles at one time.. =/ can u?) fast shooting needlers, and...... mayb even ELITES. mwahaha.

i cant get this to work..

patched frozen.ppf to spammy cahce, trasnfered renmaed cache003.map to :x . i only see reg chillout.

tell me what u guys did..

yea put a frg and a flamethrower if possible.. and take off some trees.

Ok umm i dont have to overwrite any wpns to insert the flamey and the frg but i was wondering where u wanted me to place em?

Well Jake if you could add a FRG and Flamthrower I would be sp happy. Please do, Maybe you could add a rockethog too, (i tried it myself but the game freezes on load then)
Just put them somewhere in the middle of the map.

well martjin, i understood and did everything u said but it dint work.

then i tried putting the .map file into the /maps folder but not overwriting, and the cache003.map was also the new map file. it worked

well the flamethrower could be inside the base, to guard the flag.. and in secluded areas.. frg should be ready to pick up.. like the sniper in bg. so like on top of the base or sumthin or wherever u find would be better.. while lookin in SE. and whatever you do dont change the fuel rod gun model or flamethrower.. ive been waiting so long for them. ;)

and umm a little less trees. =)
