Patch: Flag fix patch for Silent Cartographer MP

Alright...I have made a patch that:

-replaces the Banshees with Ghosts(So it doesn't lag; yes the pelicans are still there, but there are only 2 of them and it is not really that easy/practical to go higher than the top of the cliffs)
-adds a reticle to the energy sword
-fixes a problem I had with the nuke freezing the game whenever I picked it up(dont know if any of you had that)
-changes the flag spawn points to opposite bases(not the players spawns, just the flags)

Edit:Any suggestions where things should be placed as I think I have found a way to move things around(Vehicles, weapons, Players Spawns etc) Not the AI though.

Actually, I just figured out that Sparkedit 2.5 WILL open the level. I don't really like the controls for it but it is better than nothing.

wow finally halo on xbox have island map (my favorite on PC version)! thanx!

please u can add more and more AI? with slayer is like play a coop-mode in 4 against the AI!!

have try but sparkedit crash when try to open prisoner.map or cache

Ok...first of all, this isn't my map. This is a patch I created for Swamp Foxes Silent Cartographer map. Second, you have to download the map from his thread. Sparkedit 2.5 is the only one that I have found that can open this map.

the way to patch this sp to mp is not that clear to me. i can't use ppf o'matic so you suggest hht. i goto the scenery on the hht screen and cannot find any inject button for ppf's. do you mean the inject for meta's?

Well, it is a ppf. Ppf-o-Matic should work.

3.02 does work? It always gives me an error when I try to open it. 2.5 just opens it nice and quickly too. Although I have to complain about it's controls.

Hehe its not hht its hhHt, there is an extra H in there it stands for helpful halo hacking tool. Just a bit of info for u all.

Yeh...that is what I use actually. Its just called Halo Patch 1.3 on the icon though.

what cache file do i patch the ppf to? im so lost, i dont care about compressing it or any of that crap, unless i have too

You patch Silent Cartographer MP with this. As I have said, this is not the map itself...you can get that here:

Then, just patch that mapfile with the patch in this thread to fix a problem with the flags spawning.

Also, I don't flame ppl for asking for help. That is just rude(unless it is a pathetic dumb question and I find the person annoying)

can u make another patch for this with everything u said in the first post MINUS replacing the banshees....without the banshees the levels just no fun and iv never had it lag because of it!

Well, you could just manually unreplace the banshees with ghosts.

yeah i agree, banshees are necessary to this level and they dont lag me either. if anything lags this level its the 800+ scenery objects (not the ai either :P)

Hmmm..I wasn't saying that the Banshees themselves lag the game...just that when ppl fly to a point where a lot of the island is showing on their screen, it lags, quite a bit.
