how it works: just get in to any vehicle (all of them work) and drive in to scenery, bsp (sometimes), other vehicles, and even the master chief

how i did it: just swap the characters\cyborg\cyborg shield depletion effect with vehicles\scorpion\shell explosion effect (2878F44)
and go down to jpt! click globals\vehicle_hit_environment and give it 1000 damage

but if anyone breaks your shield, by pistol, grenade, assault rifle you will explode

that is stupid.

See, this is the problem with this community. There are a bunch of 12 year olds thinking that they know everything, but they really don't.

If you want to make a MOD, make that actaully makes sense and adds another aspect to the game.

Most of the MODs on here are 100% crap and make Halo run much slower.

I'll second what ^mr_abc^ said. Do you possess anything postworthy??? Please share it with us. The simple fact that you don't know who mrhyperpenguin is tells me you've got nothing to show. And age really doesn't have much to do with it. This site seems to slowly be turning into what X-S has turned into...a free-for-all bash fest and less of a community. Just because you disagree with something posted does not mean you need to disrespect. Constructive critisism is, however, encouraged. Thank you and have a nice day.

Now on to better stuffs. myhyper, pretty good concept. Could make for some interesting game play. It would kind of force the...uh...lower skilled drivers to take care not to run into things. Kind of adds a more of a sense of realism. I like it and think it would be wizard (what cheezy movie did I hear that on? ) to be incorporated into more mods.

It sure would tighten up my driven skills lol

I like it. If you turned the damage of the tank shell down would it be possible to live through the explosion?

actually i've been playing w/ effects for a long time... you can do some fun/funny things w/ it!!! Believe me... I got some friends laughing! But i've never posted anything.... cause that was back when the modding community was just learning the tags and stuff long time ago... and its moved on to map conversions and such.... but its good seeing ppl learning.....

Look for ECW (Elite Civil War) comming out soon by me (Flying Poo) and Thinkreddie.... playable elites in all multiplayer levels... and new UI to go along w/ it... integrates into NMP so you can play it all w/o switching to the dash halo > NMP > ECW and back and a few gifts here and there in the levels.... prolly gana be the first "map mod set" w/ easter eggs everywhere!!!

anywho... I tried this mod and its verry fun.... sniper rifle.... BOOM!!!

also add a few numbers to the Force to get better effects

i agree and diagree with you guys we need new mods everyone knows this is easly done but we just dont post it now couple this with some new models and it would be cool now i always give good reviews of mods and telling someone they flat out sucks is bitch i did this to one of ebswff mod but apoligized and look at him now hes a very good modder i havent seen any other of mr hyper penguins mods but that doesnt make him better or worse see these forums arent been ruined by noobs its being ruinede by the assholes that have been here ruing the experince for them with the constant flames and such i agree it does get annoying but remeber you where once a noob and you asked the same things now im gonna stay with halomods most of the noobs have left and its a good time to start over and redo this stuff now im probally gonna come back to modding since there is a reason {lack of mods ext ext} now this is what i have to say about all this crap my team cxe doesnt even post here anyomore

i got the idea there, but never knew how he did it since the link to the download is down, so when rolypolypaviolis i stuidied it and ported it to halo xbox

jeeze stop the flamin guys!!! I've seen "coppied" stuff everywhere... just diffrent forms of it and done diffrent ways... diffrent platforms.... ya flame again.... I know some mods that will either close this thread or delete all the way arround.... since flaming is being cracked down now.

i dont realy know i just felt i had to say something. why do you people dis other modders. i like to think of all the mods as art work, and they should all be admired for there unquieness. and all you flammers probly couldnt do a better job, not to say this was a bad mod. i actual thought it was quit creative. so people shut you mouth if your going to flam about ones art.

WOW... I agree with you that lots of the mods here are crap... but this was an original idea and I'm glad he posted it. There is a big difference between mods and original ideas, mods are fun to play, and original ideas are new and help MAKE mods.
