what i got trying to make wizard dark

heres wat i got wen i followed ebsswf's tut on making a level dark it a little wierd
if anyone could tell me wat i did wrong it would help

i just tried the tut again but this time i got the same thing but just stripes no red or blue or anything
ijusst did it with sw to i got the same thing

Did you save the dds as a 565 image? I don't have photoshop or anything but my editor can save as a 565 bmp. I just hex edit the bitmap and look at the texture data. Then, I go to the offset for the lightmap and change the bitmap data to the data that was in my 565 bmp file. I can change any lightmap without photoshop

wow... just use the sky plugin for hmt and give it black fog.

that didnt work either i tried it but it was just normal with a little darkness then i turned the black way up and u couldnt even see muzzle flashes or explsions but u could see the level fine and everyone and all the weapons were black

if you makt the max thickness 1 or more, you cant see anything... try making the max thickness 0.75, start distance 0 and solid distance 0.0001

I reccomend hht4... it is a super cool program that can inject stuff without overwriting anytiing.
