HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Well I have held onto mods that I have created long enough. This map takes place in like the dead of winter. Like all my maps they have to be very well balanced other wise in my opinion its not worth playing them, so enjoy!

Winter Gulch v1 includes...
1. All new bitmaps
2. 343 Guilty Spark Sky
3. Sidewinder trees
4. Beacons to distinguish between bases
5. Snow falling
6. Ghost fly
7. Warthogs shoot while driving

Note: The weapons are always left in the default places when I create mods because I do not want to loose the way bungie did things. I guess you can call it a personal preference of mine.

Bugs: Will not open up in Spark Edit.
Reason: When I added the snow into the map it became unusable in Spark Edit. If you would like the map before I applied the snow so you can add stuff just let me know and ill add it into this topic as a second download.

Winter Gulch v1: Editable...
1. Patch a clean cache file of gulch.
2. Now you can edit Winter Gulch to your liking.
3. When your done you can use the "add snow patch"
4. Done!

Nice Hizlo but like that other guy said, the fly ghosts get a little old after a while maybe try putting in a Banshee r a starfox vehicle . Well heres just another topic i posted on of urs keep the mods coming

Ya your right about the ghosts... Banshees sound like a great idea! I'll get working on that after things settle down for me. But definitly a great idea.

Well this map was a favorite at a lan party. Everybody likes differen't things, I like flying ghosts as well as Banshees, they can manuver in closer and tighter in trees, or caves,and all the vehicals work right, NICE, trees are great ,layout nice,snow kool, sky fog bout right, looks and plays good to me. Just plain fun the way it is Have FUN

Ya ok... This map took me the longest to do. Take a look at the bitmaps, trees, beacons, sky, etc... Everything is perfectly placed and very well balanced. Look a lil harder at this map, thats all. Theres alot more detail then you think
