Ok guys here's another mod I did. This mod is in the dead of winter, so download this and try it out its a lot of fun!

Winter Creek v1 includes...
1. Bitmaps were totally redone.
2. Dead of winter with snow falling.
3. Sidewinder trees.
4. 343 Guilty Spark Fog.
5. Ghosts.
Note: Ghost are in this map but all you have to do is duplicate a piece of scenery and flip through until you see the ghost. Everything is done meaning the speed and bitmaps were adjusted for this map! I left them out cause some people do not like ghost in such a small map. But again I made it very easy for you to have them in here.

Note: I know this is a very basic type of mod but again it has a totally new feel to it. I guarantee that you will all enjoy it.

Snowball Gun: Winter Creek now has a separate patch for something pretty damn cool. My buddy Zulu created a mod for me; I was asking him about a snowball gun cause as you can see it's called "Winter" Creek. This gun is a lot of fun, make sure you guys download this patch and try it out. Anyway, all you have to do is patch Winter Creek with the "Snowball" ppf.

Note: The assault rifle now shoots snowballs that take damage and stick to you!

Ndugu snowball gun ripoff?

it's not a rip off of anything, I found that Ndugu is for Halo CE, and this is xbox... so... yea... I didn't use ANYTHING from Ndugu.

None of the downloads work on halomaps.com, After a minute my download stops and says something like server reset. Could you post this on another site.

I just got it w/o problems...hmmm

works fine for me... no problems here. Must be YOUR computer...

I've downloads lots of things and never had this problem. In fact I just downloaded a 20 MB map. Also I've tried downloading snak3k1's Halo 2 mod on Halo maps and the same thing happand.

Since it's winter, the water in the creek must be pretty damn cold, maybe you could make it so it hurts you

Cool idea, but think about it. Even if the water is cold enough to hurt you, I think his armour can take a little cold. But I guess it couldnt hurt

very unique, u barley ever see any mods on bc, and if u do, they are sucky, ... but its good to have change!.. nice mod looks awesome

umm... i didnt realize that cold water hurts you. i mean ice is cold water, and it doesnt hurt....

First of all, that would be very easy and he could do w/e he wants to it BY HIMSELF, but to make the water hurt u just inject the collision model for fire from pillar of autumn then inject the !jpt of the fire alsop and swap the dependencies of the water so it it has that !jpt u just injected, then there u go. Ice cold water that hurts, u may need to make some tags in HXE also but thats old news and is very easy also. Hizlo, cool i see ur posting things here and on halomaps, thats the way to get this thing seen. Love the mod, keep up the good work. ttyl

I dunno if the river should be ice... when it snows here in chi-town all of the rivers and lakes aren't frozen... and if they are, it's very thin and will melt soon.

Make it hurt you or make it ice. I personally like both ideas but, if you could get ice from the ground of SW then I would love that. So that when you walk on it it you hear your feet tapping on the ice. Better yet, since it is just a creek, make the sound different, like the ice is cracking under your feet..... then if you stand there too long you start to ake damage because the cold water is seeping through the cracks.

Dude that's a great idea! I'll look into the sounds and the water turning it into ice. You guys have to bare with me on this because im expecting a little girl tomorrow, my wife is pregnant. So ill get on this asap, but the next week or so will be tight for me. Thanks for all the great input guys, I really appreciate it.
