Death Canyon v1, SW Reskinned -- by popular demand!

This is just like Death Valley v1

except this is for Sidewinder now. It's a big change from the original Sidewinder, turns it into a desert canyon instead of a snowy valley. Vehicles are made of wood, bases and structures are made of different types of wood instead of stone and metal. Red striped canyon walls, barren dirt instead of snow.

I used Stinger77s's Spring Sidewinder to get rid of the ice effects then reskinned everything with my own stuff.

Give me some feedback and/or suggestions, good or bad. Anyone want to get a few (large) screenshots of this for me?? :) Thanks.

Sorry to be a n00b, but What programs do you use for skinning levels like these. I have hmt, hht, photoshop, sparkedit etc, and after reading lots am still unsure on skinning techniques

Just to let you know it looks like you used that clear sky ppf I made, the problem is that will not let you play the map compressed, it will give a dirty disc error. I think its because I used bitmap meta from Bloodgulch to null it out but I found a way around it that does work compressed. If you want I could make a new ppf but I will only be able to post it tommorrow, unless you want me to tell you how to do it then you can do it today. Just thought you might like to know that since people will probably end up compressing it in their own mods. Nice job by the way, I also like the job you did with Bloodgulch, I can tell you how to get rid of the planets and ring in that too if you want.

Hey thanks. Ya that ppf would be nice, then I'll redo the textures, and people can compress it. I can get rid of the planets and all in BG, I just haven't decided on what I want exactly for a final version. Thanks.

The new one is posted sorry I didn't post it in here I just thought I would update the add-ons mod just in case someone else decided to use it. I bumped the mod so it should be close to this one in the forum, anyway their you have it, sorry about the problem in the first place hope it works for you but if it doesn't work with what you have already done then all I did was null out the bitmaps in the hilltop sotr and swapped the moon, planet and sky sotr's with the hilltop sotr in HMT, anyway keep up the good work man, later!

Ya I just threw this one together real quick using stuff from my death valley mod. Do you have something in mind? If you have any good ideas let me know.
