Hey dude, if you check around the forums you'll find there are lots of mirrors that have it. Try a different one. I had that problem at first until I found a different one.

Believe it or not this is my first time using bitTorrent as well. I feel confident that if you use google.com that you should be able to find a site, or a group of sites to help you fix what your doing wrong. For starters, try the faq on bittorent.com.

All your data looks good, the only difference is MXM. Try using EvoX just for the install. Then let me know how it goes.

for reference what are te build numbers used? my xbox is in peices right now. (/gumblesunderhisbreath) so i havent been able to play with this and i need to know which of my custom versions i need to edit the #'s on

Well XBcopy is being a bitch so I won't be able to get a fresh copy of halo. (First I can't add new programs, second XBcopy doesn't work! I hate my xbox!) so I used the .xbe from an incomplete copy to replace the .xbe in my copy of halo with a trainer... I will test it out tonight...
(Damn, I am having a bad week, xbox is being stupid, got choked, computer monitor broke,my glasses broke ... ARGH!)

@angrycamel: I finally got this thing installed! I'm a happy camper.
Here's what I did...
Fortunately, I have two xboxes and two PC's.

From PC1 to Xbox1, failed every time
From PC1 to Xbox2, failed every time
From PC2 to Xbox1, successfull
From PC2 to Xbox2, successfull

The only difference between PC1 and PC2 is that PC1 has XP's service pack 2. PC2 still has service pack 1 on it.

Also when I ran the install from PC2 to each xbox, it hung when it was uploading the default.xbe file. It hung for like 20 minutes at 43%, then finally worked. With PC1, it would just give me that error right away when it got to that file but never hang.

who reads the manual???? they're usualy in spanish anyway!

if you cant figure it out, ask your buddies, if they cant figure it out, take it apart, when you put it back together and it still wont work, check the manual

My xbox won't let me add any apps, and before you ask, yes I checked my evox.ini and the auto add tags are all there.

what is up with the "hold x to swap for right thumbstick" gun in fissure falls

when i pick it up it says "yyouve picked up a flame thrower" but there is no gun, and no melee damage from that gun either.. furthermore, after picking it up, you cant drop it for another gun..

Oh and the spawn point that spawns you outside the map can be annoying in actual game play, but it is sort of like playing russian roulette. Just hope you dont get that side of the map in CTF or your team is in for it.

I noticed that hold x thing as well. At first I got excited. I thought it would be a way to go and punch someone without using a gun. Alas, no melee damage though.

Hey guys, Im feelin real stupid since I know this is prob the easiest thing in the world to install by thats not really my problem. I downloaded it and it finished it .rar format and its 69,901 kb big. I used winace to extract it to a random new file and it creates a file called install.dcr and its an unknown file type that I dont have a program to open it with i guess or somthin. So what am i suppose to do with that file or do I need to re download it. Thanks sorry to be a nuesence this is my first attempt to mess with halo outside of just burning to my hd on my xbox. later

from the start bar you mean. If I type setup.exe there in the runn command is says please go to control panel to install and configure components. Im sorry Im so ignorant when it comes to this. And the install.drc file is only 481 kb big is that right.

In the installer folder, the one that was created when you un-rared the package. There is a file called setup.exe, double click it. Make sure your xbox is turned on then simply fill in the information. From here you should be able to follow the tutorial.

somthing must not be right, as I only have one file after un raring it and its the install.dcr file. Nothing else and I cant go into or open that file because my comp says the file is unknown and asks me what program to open it with but i shouldnt have to do that. Maybe Ill try to redownload it.

I just tried downloading it again from www.angrycamel.com/xbox/NMP2-CXE1_With-HMPi_Final.rar all I am getting after I extract the file with winace is one folder called install.dcr and i can t open with anything cause there is no program for this file type. Im really lost.
