*Updated--==SP-MP "Heat v2" (CXE)==--Updated*
Uhh.. if this is just the uncompressed MAP file and not a PPF. You can run it on PAL by simply changing the build number (offset 0x40) using a hex editor to "01.01.14.2342". If a hex editor is too difficult for you I know a few programs out there can change it for you (such as HXE). If that is STILL too difficult, then maybe I should just make one of those small < 1kb ppfs to do it...

i tried a couple of ppf patches after the conversion of the bsp and none of em work. Youd think that they would, since they only change weaps or models . . . but they dont.
when i finish version 2, ill use ur scenario, XboxSysMods. I cant finish version 2 until prolly after the weekend tho. Busy.

I think probably that when you inject a bsp, and the new bsp is bigger than the old, it has to move the other data below it further down therefore changing the offsets of things. Since ppfs work by recording the differences at offsets, it wouldn't work. This is just my theory though. I probably am wrong.

feedback? did anyone even watch the movie?
also, could someone confirm that both of these ppf's work? there might be slight problems with the Normal ppf b/c i may have made little changes on my local copy since the time that i released it for the internet.

You need the MOD itself, first of all, which comes in the form of a cache file. There are 2 versions of this cachefile, one is the normal version with my scenario and the other is the one hosted by xboxsysmods with his scenario.
THEN you need to apply the proper patch to that cache file to update it to version 2
if you have xboxsysmods cache file then patch that with the xboxsysmods ppf
and same goes for the normal one and the normal ppf
If you still cant figure it out. . . . . then give up.
