Good news
NMP team is working on it, we have to move some more stuff and the original version of this map will then work, then you can add whatever you want. If it takes to long, i'll just recreate the map without the problem it had before. (we know why its not compressable now)

can someone help
i have a mod chip and halo is on my hard disk i know how to insert a ppf to a map file i use ppf-o-matic but every time i send it to the xbox it never works do i need some thing else before i can use the mod please help!!!!

alright, first off you can't patch over a map it self, you have to patch over the cache file. in order to do this you have to first play sidewinder - roam around a bit, and then quit. now connect to your computer through FTP and go into either drive X,Y, or Z until you find a file called "cache003.map". now FTP that back to your computer and patch that file with Covasion or any other file for Sidewinder. and send it back to the xbox. now play Sidewinder and hopefully it will be the level you wanted it to be.cobalt69 wrote:i dont know i just ftp the sidewinder to my pc run ppf-o-matic then add the patch to sidewinder and send it back then it brings up dirty disk error when i try to start
though that's the hard way. i recommend finding HCE (Halo Cache Editor) and putting that on your xbox, it makes this whole process a lot easier.
