Would just like to say thank you very much for what was in the end an easy 20 part download plus auto-installer via FTP through my Xbox to get this sweet Conversion Pack working!

Having been released on my 21st Birthday last year, which was something special, it's a shame it's taken me almost a year to have this installed on my Xbox, but with me and my mates, it was pretty much Halo 2 all the way since then, but now we've all begun to realise just how great and fun Halo 1 was to play, and let's face it, with these 13 new maps, the fun once again begins here, where it all started!

Thanks again to everyone who played their part in creating this outstanding games package!

I dont really like how i cant down load it from torrent cause no-one has it anymore can someone please get it up and running again so i can down load this awsomely made map pack?

Actually it is up and running and isnt on a torrent. It jsut takes a little searching.

i just joined the forum and i really wanted to get these maps.
the bit torrent doesnt work, i guess no more seeders, so i got them off of a custom website someone had mentioned earlier in this thread.
i unzipped the files, and the output maps are all the same.
and the zipped files are all the same size except the last one, which is 13 megs.

can someone please give a direct link to a download of the correct maps or explain what im doing wrong

i've been trying to get this for like a month now, no one is ever seeding.

we really need someone to host this, its sad, everyone forgot how great these are after halo 2 came out.

Yea i know what you mean...it seems like every one just ditch halo 1....and it sucks cuz i can get them now with DSL....

i got halo on my xbox hdd
i know all of the directories, but when i type it in on the HMPi setup, do i type in the location of the halo 1 folder on my hdd or the maps folder inside of the halo folder?

There are some tutorials for the old way of putting the maps on your xbox. If I remember correctly you have to get the original maps off the XBOX by ftping from your computer and then you need a program for your pc that patches the maps you got off your XBOX with the ones you downloaded. That's why the ones you downloaded are so small...they must be merged (or patched) to the larger map files from your XBOX.

I would love to get my hands on the correct maps as well. I have downloaded a 68 MB RAR File that is password protected and I don't know the password.

Also, I thought the release was over 300MB originally...what's the deal with a 68 MB Version?

since i posted that i realize that each of the 19 different parts all unzip and make one big 300 mb folder. i still dont know exactly how to install it on my xbox though.

umm... okay I dont have the orriginal file thinger anymore that the torrent had.... but I do have the game as a game on my Xbox... I could put that up to download on my website..
