Hey thanks
I talked my friend into letting me use the bittorrent on his computer cos no one replied when I asked if there was another way. Thanks, now my friends computer has a virus he can't get rid of and he is pissed at me. Thats what I get for being polite and asking if its ok to download from angrycamel.com instead of just taking it? A special thanks goes to whoever had the virus.

To Rokcade, I was havin the same problem. I talked to Angrycamel and he saud that the path of my directory was to long. I should put the whole conv mappack folder somewhere on my harddisk (C:/) so that my directory would become C:/Haloconv. This solves the problem!
Good luck,
Martijn
BTW I believe that the mappack is downloadeble somewhere at hxbdev.org, dunno for sure though

Anyone having trouble getting the pack from the torrent can feel free to get it from my site. The link has been posted on hxbdev.org since the night I realesed. I just wanted to see how many people would scream and cry for it without actually looking first. So here it is, easy to get to and find. A direct link to the download from my site. Please do not abuse this privilege or I will revoke it. Use the torrent first. If that does not complete or doesn't work for some reason, then as a last resort you can suck down the bandwidth from angrycamel.com. Sorry to be so sracastic, I am really sleepy.

Did you say that you put the installer in the NMP one? Just install it as it was downloaded, without changing anything. If you want to have NMP2+CXE on there first then install it before running this installer. There is a way to combine the two installers, but its not as simple as putting stuff in there like you described. If you are interested in getting them to install at once then you can read the 5-6 page HMPi tutorial (http://files.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=18351) to learn how to make this possible. Otherwise if it was just the path error then the fix that Martijn Mentioned should work just fine.

Thanks for the heads up about the problem with Reactor Room. I can almost garantee that with Halo 2 so close this will not be fixed. Now that it is know people can know to either avoid it or enjoy it. Either way its great that you notified us all about the bug.

All you need to have Halo run, is an .xbe file and its corrosponding maps folder. Of course the buildVersion and where the maps are located have to match between the two or else you will get a black screen.
So for this pack in particular the directory structure would go like this:

Hello, im an ultra noob ( sorry) but im doing my best and i have downloaded the this map pack which i want to install on my pal halo but how?? firstly it errors beause the xbe is PAL and secondly when i try to start halo with the ppf applied it black screens because the patch is NTSC please how do i install this on a PAL copy of halo, is it possible to download a halo default.exbe from a ntsc copy use it as a replacement for the pal one? please help
update: ok, i used this "PAL-to-NTSC_Full-MP_RPP-Kit" during the setup it said somthing about not having enough room or somthing so i moved the default.xbe from the xbox to one of the folders manually and then it seemed to work but then i go to install the map pack and it tells me the defailt.xbe is not from the ntsc version but when i play the game its in black and white so it must have converted??? im very confused help pleease
