when you open the map, go down a little and turn left. If it helps, turn the draw distance up in your SE options. O, and BTW, i forgot to do some things in that ppf like inject the new sky and null out the decals :oops: lol :P I might put an updated ppf up soon, it will help.

hrm...i did this over a month ago...except i did it with a bsp bigger than bg's, b30_b. It looked great in sparkedit, but u still couldnt spawn in it. but it IS possible to inject a bsp bigger than 1 megabyte. actually u can inject one up to 6 megabytes.

Yes, SF is right, after i posted this, we figured out how to inject bigger stuff. And SF, i DID state in my post that "i am sure others have done this before". But i thought it was about time the public now that progress is being made. I also think i stated in a later post that you can inject bigger bsps. If you look in the NMP section i give some insight as to how you do it.

has anyone figured out how to crack this spawn problem? is this the only thing holding back a working sp-mp map, or are there any other problems?

Does the bsp have a collision model?

EDIT: Oh, what if you move the spawn points to where the Bsp would be, then inject the new Bsp, and you will respawn in there.

I don't think that this will work because it is almost the same thing as moving the spawn points now, just doing it in different oreder. Besides, I think that this scenario won't even work for this bsp. Yes, there are people working on fixing these problems. Unfortunately, they have been unsuccessful. Everyway we try it, the same things keep happening. Wait until i put in the sky, it might help get you closer to the bsp when you load it on xbox.

the spawns are in completly random spots sometimes.. there were they were in the original map.. thats why you shouldve switched with a small lvl...

Ok, Deathtoall, I don't WANT to be mean, but i just have to say, when you learn how to do this stuff, go ahead and you can tell me what i should've done, ok :P Do you even know WHY I used SW? Because SW was one of the only levels big enough to hold a bsp of this size at the time. Now we can convert almost any bsp, but there are a lot more steps, and why not do less steps just to see if something works huh? The spawns are not in random spots, they are exactly where they were in SW's scenario. So next time please think before you post.
