Mister, Was i trying to duplicate a level that already exists? No, was altering one that exists so that it feels like a brand new level. Everyone else agrees. And I didn't want to use blocks b/c well... that just doesn't make it feel like a real 'new' level. Also, I did not want to do ANY weapon/vehicle mods b/c they are usually not balanced. No matter how cool a weapon/vehicle mod seems at first, my friends and I always revert back to good ole' bloodgulch with standard weapons. I just want another level that has the same feel. But thanks for the good words everyone. Keep 'em comin.
Oh yea. I didn't have slayer (or any other gametype) in mind while making the level, so that's why I missed the spawn point.

This mod is amazing!!! Sidewinder is finally playable with a small group of people, this just a little bigger than heh!!! so many posibilities too! turrets (is a ZOOMING TURRET possible?), I don't normally like jump mods but this level is begging for a (very) slightly higher jump, and falling damage adjusment, maybe some more stones in the middle (not trees)! With zooming machine gun turrets on top... OMFG!!! that would be so tight!!

Thanks for all of the good words guys. To everyone who keeps sayin stuff about turrets and jump/weapon mods, the point of me making this mod was to create a map that felt like it was made with the game; like it was a brand new multiplayer level. Adding weapons that aren't naturally in multiplayer would take that away. If you want to add your own mods to this, feel free, but I have always thought that the standard weapon set is the best/most balanced, and will never be beat.
yea i agree, but seriosly i think 1 or 2 turrets by the RL and the power ups would be ok, also a couple rocks in the feild since u cant make hills for cover... another thing is the portals.... there should be more towards the middle of the map with the RL inbetween em, giving it a more bg feel.(my oppinion) but thats wut i think should be changed , the teleports and more rocks... if you dont do this im considering modding ur map since u gave the ok.
o yea i was playin ctf and a got a spawn at one of the bases.
and spawns def need more ground ones cuz it seems like u get the same spawn each time.

Nice level, I like the layout and it does feel alot different from Sidewinder. I would also like to say I think its cool you used my mod as I am tired of the origional snow and ice filled Sidewinder with the anoying howling wind which is the reason I converted it to spring in the first place. I posted it only hoping modders would take it and make something more out of it and you did so I say thanks. I just hope your not the last person to use it for a mod. Congrats on getting your map in the Halo NMP!
