gurella is a haloce editor that was made by gearbox
so it allows a lot more editing that everything else

the only problem i have with hxe is when i open it it's bigger than my screen and i cant resize it (i think because im running two moniters)

Bump! I'm not asking for anything really advance, but if someone could like teach me chain spawning projectiles, I can learn from there on my own.

nice program, i should have looked at this a long time ago. But what i really wanted to say is, please in the next release add the ability to inject models, especially if you could insert them at EOF and relink them, ppl need a program that allows more flexability with injecting models, every model ive made i get subobject errors when trying to inject it back in. If someone could help me with that id muchly appreciate it.

i havent tried the cyclone yet so im not sure what you want still, sorry. I could help you change the projectile, like say the AR shoots needler bullets, then you could change the effects of it and the force, etc.

I can do that, that stuff is easy. I'm not a noob, I'm just trying to figure this thing out. In cyclone there are needels that turn into rockets in mid flight, and there's a chagred plasma round that slpits off into 2 rockets. Ithats the kinda stuff I've been wanting to do.

HE HE HE... I just did a chain spawning grenade mod, but it seems the grenades keep spawning and evrything dies. Once i perfect this i WILL release a tut.

the gurrella tag converter works
i converted the halo ce delimiter tag (bots)
they are smarter and ive seen one or two jump

edit
and with tsf hek tags i made their sences (seeing hearing) super strong

awesome! as for chain spawning, its simple: take the tag called "sentinel death" or something like that. it shoots garbage out, and what you need to do is change 'brag' to 'jorp' 3 times, or use HXE to do that (something i was testing ;) ). change the idents to the projectile you want to spawn, and make the default impact effect to the sentinel death.

as for polymorphism, use the "lightning trails" effect from the library and do the same thing (the 'garb' is already 'proj' though)

i think im gonna work on map rebuilding now, dont kill me if i never get it to work ;)

I was messing around, and got a pretty good grenade chain spawing going on, but when I looked at the some reflexives it said chunk count, followd by a number. I was wondering if this is the number of pieces that come off an explosion like the sentinel chunks?
