not usable in this mapPack... I talked to him about em. 343 will not syslink. He is working on making reactor room syslink and compress... if he hasnt done it allready before this release. If anyone has tested that let me know.

EDIT: I was mistaken... reactor will syslink and compress, but CTF did not work.

hey everyone,
i know you dont know me but i just wanted to say that this last mappack for halo is going to be awsome, even though when halo2 releases this will all be history, but i for one appriciate all the hard work and many hours of starring at a screen that you guys put into this and every map project before. i wish i knew how to do some of these things so i could be a part of this. Also, hope everything works out for the new halo menu (by angrycamel on pg2), that would be awsome. cant wait for the release and keep up the good work. :)

one other thing....even though i dont know how to do everything you guys are doing, one thing i am good at is graphics. ive been a graphics designer for several years so if you ever need someone to do any graphics for this stuff im willing to help. and probably learn some other things as needed.

yeah, i've been playin for a while and, for the most part, keepin up with the halomods forums.....but i would like to get more involved with things like this. its just fun. nice hobby too. so just let me know if there's anything i can help with.

Angrycamel, from what |I've understand reactor room does compress and is playble over system link
The only problem is that the map wont play ctf (freeze on load)
But since the map is a real ts map we could include it in the pack, since we dont have 12 maps cause Halo doesnt compress also

yeah, reactor room wont CTF and 343 wont system-link. thats whats been holding them back for about 3 weeks now, and im kind of sick of that stuff not working >_< and on top of it, angrycamel wanted me to do two more maps (which one is done already minus one spawn that i cant find): Halo 2 (hehe) and the Library 2 - both of which are shaping up to be awesome maps (and CTF works :o). You can expect these in about one to two days.

Update on the Library 2: i just made a huge advance in the machine-scenario department: i can make any machine power up now, i made the giant elevator move when someone gets on it! i successfully repeated the whole process with 3 machines in 3 minutes, now the giant blast door opens when someone approaches and theres no need for banshees because im not using the upper levels.

That is amazing TSF....another great advancement. Please share you knoledge with my team....me and pokecancer are workin on a great level...but we could use your knowledge in triggers and scenerios and stuff. Thank You

well, just extract the sencario with hmt and take a look at its reflexives. (use wizard, it has machines in its scenario) and compare it with a fresh bg. scenario

I have updated the front post... its a big update since I have brought back the CE maps. There just are not enough CE conversions to make a CE only Pack and there are not enough working SP conversions to make a SP only pack so I had to bring them back together to make a single pack possible. I hope everyone understands that is the best decision given the time we have before Halo2 comes out.

I am really looking forward to the improvments made to Library and Halo from TSF. As a side note? Will those support all games types as well? Or will we need to go in after you finish and move some points?

One other thing... I know you are mad busy right now, TSF, but you mentioned a ui.map mod a while back. Have you been able to patch this with your 115MB mod? If so is it something that you are planning to submit for use with this pack?

Well angrycamel,
I'm still waitin for MrHyperpenguin. He leaves for a plane trip tomorrow, but he said he might have it done by then.
When he cant get it to work, if still get the v1 updated with less trees, extended base, fixed spawns and all game types.
Also it does compress and plays over system link (tested it out myself)

So my map will inlcude all gametypes, compressability and systemlinkable

if you guys want my AI mod i could tweak it for this map pack, but all it is is some strange objects and SC, no text/bitmap/menu mods

library 2 and halo 2 will support all game types except for rally, i cant ever get that to work or else SC would have had an island race mode which would have been quite fun

cross your fingers not only for RR:CTF but for Library 2 and Halo 2's system-link-ness. I havent gotten to test those two maps yet.

swamp fox my dawgg soemthin big is goin on in halo pc or ce....

zanzibar with
halo 2 weopons. LOOKS very very good.. like true halo 1.5
