Yeah in HMT their is a tab you can change the thing to say shoot own gun or something like that. I havent tested that method but i have seen it. P.M. if you want me to send the hoverboard to you you can dissect it if you want.

I know it's possible, try messing in HMT v3.5 for the passenger code on the warthog where it lets you should the gun that you're holding. There was that release on the main page about how warthog seating works, perhaps give that a try.
