Will someone please take a screenshot of this because the pic looks
like crap in sparkedit but it looks really awesome when youre playing it...
ebsswf's V.R. Mod For Blood Gulch (XboX NTSC)
with tutorial & tools to add this map permanentley
(0) This map is for use with BG ONLY with Slayer & CTF!
(1) In This mod i changed the regular panels into these "Glass" ones
(2) I also changed every weapon that you use in this map to "Glass"
(3) pistol and shotgun are modded
(4) Scorpion is now a turret
(3) And Then to top it all off...... This is a "COMPLETELY" new map
not like the ones that are just floating in bloodgulch and then have all
the spawn points changed it is just floating in space...
Thanks to the people who made Venegence (for the glass model and
the bitmap for it) and also Thanks to the person that made Torture
Chamber (because i just deleted all of his stuff in his map and changed
the models and stuff [cuz you made the map without bg and i used it])

Since you seem to like the glass concept, there's a map on Counter-Strike PC similiar to this. I thought about remaking it, but I'll just give you the idea and all you'll have to do is rearrange some stuff. If you'd like, and I think it's a fun map so you should do it man, remake the map like the CS one :
Make a rectangle with actual blocks (so people can only stay in the rectangle), the blocks standing upright.
make a floor that is made of only glass.
add some walls (not completely across, but cover like half and half) as running obstacles out of glass, so they can be blown away also
then, make both teams spawn at opposite ends of the rectangle
make none of the guns fire, no ammo (or 0 damage on bullet)
start everyone off with full grenades, and then make sure you put a lot of grenades (atleast 1 on each glass-floor-tile) on the ground.
The concept of this is that both teams start, and have a destructable map. So as they attack each other with grenades and try to get close to melee (knife on CS), the floor pieces are being knocked out. So you have to be careful where you step.
The only problem with this, is that on CS the map reloads whenever the round is over... on Halo you'd just be spawning on a spot where the glass broke. See if you could find a way to make the glass respond maybe? Or where you start on a solid block platform (everyone spawns on one) and that way you can walk onto the glass?
Let me know if you're going to build this map, if not I am.

You know what man, DON"T MAKE THE MAP I DESCRIBED. I am starting a Counter-Strike TO Halo Mods Conversion Team, and I think I'll make that one of mine. Thanks for the idea though, good map!NinjaMaster wrote:I have played the cs map your talking about. I'd like to see more cs style mods made.
