Considering he wants an "adapter," it would indicate he's not looking for the charger. The P&C kit does not allow you to use a 360 wireless controller on a PC, as it does not transfer data. It also sounds like he may be looking for this, since a 360 wired controller can be plugged right into a computer, and any Windows OS should detect it and download drivers. It sounds like he's asking about the original Xbox console.

Not that.
More along the lines of plugging the cord into a normal xbox( not 360 since I don't have one) controller and playing halo and halo 2 of with it.
But a wired controler could work it's just the cost. Since the adapter is bout $7 on eBay
