Ok, I am currently running Windows Vista 32bit right now. My processor supports a 64bit operating system so I thought I would download the Windows 7 64bit ISO. I'm having a little bit of trouble.

This is the tutorial I am using to install it since I don't have a DVD burner: http://indosourcecode.blogspot.com/2008 ... ndows.html

I mounted it to a virtual drive and I'm about to partition my hard-drive to put the files in. Now the problem... When I click the setup.exe, I get this:

Will this error go away since I will be launching it when I boot? I plan to install this over my 32bit Vista.

You get what? There's not even a link to anything there.

I'd advise sticking to Windows 7 32-Bit anyways.

And yeah, go for 32 bit unless you have 4+ GB of ram. It's not worth the extra trouble/compatibility issues for no gains.

This was solved about a month ago. I would have done the USB method, but my USB drive does not have sufficient space to hold the massive ISO.

It's not massive. It's like 2GB.

Don't have money. Can't afford a 2gb stick. :(

I don't really need it. Installing it in Windows seems to work fine.
