HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I got a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter for my 360 headset so I could plug it into my PC, but I realized it doesn't work without drivers. Does anyone know of any drivers that will let me use it?
I don't have a wired controller, and I don't need the earphone to work, I just want the microphone.. The earphone is just a plus if it's available.
Edit: I got it to work.. I just realized the headset was switched off..

Did you need any drivers to get it to work?

I downloaded the Xbox 360 controller drivers/accessories before I did anything, so I'm not sure if that's what got it to work or not.
It's a newer model I've never used, so I didn't know :3
