Everyone here knows that I am a complete dumbass when it comes to computers except for Photoshop and the porn sites.

Why is this happening?

Did I do something wrong?

And how would I got about fixing this?

And if possible I am going to need it in Dummy talk if possible.

I can't add any songs or update my "pod" is there a lower version I can re-download?

Is that your problem? Because from the picture I definitely could not have known... I mean there's no indication it wouldn't transfer. >_<

Also..

I don't see an iPod plugged in, and you mean add songs to your library? You can't just drag them in from a Windows Explorer window?

I figured out the rest now I just need some insight on how to make it not look so weird.

Try View/as List.

I looked it up on Google ("itunes purple"). Try changing your color depth from 16-bit to 32-bit.
