Just wondering if anyone's ever had their PC laid in a horizontal position, one that's designed to stand vertically, and had any problems by doing so?
I've just moved out, and need a little extra room which could be achieved by laying my PC down on it's side... just worried if it could cause problems with any hardware, I'm thinking perhaps the disk tray may not work well being laid down.
Quick advice...
orientation shouldn't be a problem at all. i would personally open up the CD/DVD drives and see if they have any rotatable tabs on the trays. when you turn it sideways, you're supposed to use these to hold the CDs in the tray when you open/close the drive, but it's no big deal, and some drives have tabs that can't be moved anyways.
ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

Get a rack-mountable case and put all your tech stuff into a rack. It's way more awesome that way.

I think Noobraska is a pretty cool state. eh grows corn and doesn't afraid of anythng.
