Services handles the Windows Services running in Background you can't see right off (at least not on XP).

Are you running Vista or XP?

Windows Key + R and type msconfig. Go to the service tab and click "Hide All Microsoft Services" and "Disable All" and restart your PC.

or type services.msc into the run console and see if there are any background services that shouldn't be running and right-click stop them.

I'm using Windows XP pro SP2 and im not sure what should and shouldn't be running. Oh, i see what you're talking about, disabled some services that wheren't microsoft, let me see if that helps anything.

EDIT: Nope, didn't help it. Still using up all of my CPU. Any other suggestions? :?

EDIT2: Ha, i fixed it. Instead of killing the whole process, i used Process Explorer and killed the thread that was causing it.
