I'm about to buy a graphics card, and based on several reviews on the Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT, I've decided to stick with that one. However, I went to Nvidia's card shop, and there's quite a selection of cards to choose from under the 9600's name. I just need a card that will fit in a PCI slot is all.. so I'm not sure which one to choose from out of all of them, as I'm not as graphics card savvy as most.
I did a little looking around and just wondered if this one would do the job?

Or should I go with this one?
Edit:
Solved.

I haven't got it yet, but I'm planning on getting
this one, as I'm hearing a lot of good things about it. It's also quite cheap considering the price of the other 9600's are a bit more expensive.
Specs:
* Core Clock: 650MHz
* Shader Clock: 1625MHz
* Memory Clock:1800MHz
* Memory Type: GDDR3
* Memory interface: 256Bit
* Memory capacity: 512MB
* Stream Processor Unit / Unified shader number: 64
* Standard Shader Model: 4.0
* Standard DirectX Version: 10
* Video playback technology: PureVideo HD II/VP2
* Interface: PCIe 2.0
The only problem I know if is it's size. If you have a small case, good luck fitting it in there. Other than that it works great.

That's an excellent choice for a card.

I just bought this one:

The new Nvidia cards are very nice. My friend just got the 9600, he runs everything he wants on High.
Also I was so scared mine wouldn't fit. It's approx. 11.5 inches long. so measure your case =x

I have a Sony Vaio, and it's pretty big, so I'm sure it will fit

I'll have to make sure when I have the time.

Mine has 4 billion fps...I forgot that my eyes see a motion picture at 13 fps and can't really tell the difference above 60fps...besides...my monitor goes only up to 75Hz...so fuck the remaining fps.

Any graphics card should fit, save if it's a doubly wide one. At that point, it might cross over and take up the space of another slot, so just look at that layout of your case. But that doesn't really matter in this case, both of your choices are single-slot space cards.

how long are the x800's? the one i have in my PC now barely fits, so i'm not sure if i could get anything bigger and have it still fit
