I am looking to upgrade my video card on my Dell Inspiron 1526 laptop. Preferably, I would like to buy one that can run Crysis fairly smoothly on high settings. I'm not a computer savvy guy so I don't even know whether my computer could handle it anyway or even if I can replace the video card.
Specs as of now:
AMD turion 64 x2 dual core processor at 2.0 GHz
Windows Vista premium
3.0 GB RAM
the video card that as already installed is ATI Radeon Xpress 1270

Thanks in advance!

Ok, thats unfortunate. Considering the type of video card that I have then, would overclocking it allow it to run that much faster or at least let me run at a decent resolution on medium or high settings?

well, what you get with a laptop is what your stuck with pretty much, its not a good idea to go overclocking things due to cooling issues that are present in the laptop form. Your best bet is just to get a medium end desktop, thats the only suggestion I have if you want to run a game like crysis smoothly with medium/high settings
