Capturing video while using TV?

I recently got a capture card which is working fine.
Right now I'm just plugging the device into my computer via usb, and plugging my video and two audio cables into the capture device (Pinnacle Dazzle). But the problem with that is I have to capture video while using the program, which is an issue because the window in the program is so small.

So I'm just wondering if there's any way I could somehow plug my 360 or any other console into my TV and the capture card using any certain cable or something?

If your TV has some sort of video out, you could use that.
