HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i have a USB laptop internet card from AT&T, i tried different ways to connect to XBL like just puting an ethernet cable from my laptop to xbox while connected, and it fails at IP, i changed it to the correct IP manualy and it still didnt work, is there a way to fix this or even do it at all?

i think you might have to enable something along the lines of connection sharing on the laptop. i'm not sure how to go about this because i haven't done it, but i know it's possible. my friend at a LAN party sent his desktop's connection through his laptop which was connected to a wireless network to get steam to work, so it's not impossible.
