map names (mac)

what do you do to the maps like carousel and vertimad?
when i got the maps the file said vertimad.map and carousel.map so what do i do with them? Do i rename them or use a program?

carousel.map is normal. it is a map file that is supposed to be in your folder. vertimad.map is, i am guessing a CE map file. to play it, file back up your map folder. then download Harbinger (Halo PC>Utilities), then read the "read me" file that is on the post about it. Then convert it so you can play it.

yeah i got vertimad from a converted PPC map pack so i think it was already converted so i download the CE version and it still said "vertimad.map" thats what it said on the map file so i harbingered it it crashed my comp so thats where im up to now and yeah vertimad was CE but do i need to edit my UI.map and if i do how do i?
