My Dad recently bought an ATI Radeon X1950 Pro graphics card, which his computer doesn't really like. So, he has offered me the chance to swap my current graphics card (XFX GeForce 7900GS) for his. I'm not too "in the know" when it comes to graphics cards, and I don't know which is the better card, so I turn to the good people of the internet!

Here's the card my dad bought

And this is my one.

So, should I swap, or not?

Agreed. It's PCI Express, and although it might not make a huge difference, it'd still help.

Also, these types of threads belong in Tech Questions & Problems.

Woops, sorry, thanks for moving the thread. Anyways, both cards are PCI-E, I just linked to the wrong page. I'm making lots of suck today.

That site will give you comparisons of the two cards side-by-side.
They suggest getting the ATI card over the NVidia one. Check it out for yourself though.

It's an internet thing.
Don't post unless you have something useful to say.
