Windows LIVE Issues

Every time I try to login to Windows LIVE using my existing gamercard, it says "Downloading gamer profile" for a few seconds, and then goes to "The LIVE service is not available." I've tried updating LIVE manually and disabling the ethernet port and VPN on that laptop and using only the wireless card, but nothing seems to work. I've also updated my wireless NIC drivers, but I just restarted the PC to see if it worked or not.

idk but recently since XBL has been messed up ive had trouble logging in on my windows live thing.

how long has it been doing this
