HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok, so I lost my Halo PC CD key, and I don't know what to do. I don't want to have to buy a new Halo just because of that though. I was wondering if ANYONE knew of a Bungie help thing that could possibly tell me my Key or not. I'm desperate.

I just thought of something, could I use the system recovery tool to go back to when I did have Halo installed, use the CD key recovery tool, then come back to this date?

System Restore might have saved your Halo installation....it might not have. Personally, I wouldn't do it, i've had nothing but problems with System Restore. But, if you really want it, I think you should do it.

Damn. So the only other option is to buy Halo again right?

Unless you can magically get your key from nowhere, yes.

Wait, how do you lose a cd key while halo is installed? Anyway i guess it woudlnt work anyway since i dell restored my computer.

Installing Halo CE requires the Halo PC CD key to be entered. If you have Halo PC installed, but don't have the case, you'd use the program to get the key for use during CE installation.

oh i thought it was if you were installing halo pc but you couldnt find the cd key.
