Broken Guitar Hero Controller

My Guitar Hero II controller suddenly stopped working, its not the guitar itself, but I think it may be the controller port or something that has to do with the wire connecting the controller plug and the guitar. I opened it up to make sure that all the soldering was good and stuff. Nothings wrong with the inside.

I wanted to know if anyone knew how to fix this? My dad said it may be a fuse somewhere but I cant find one on the guitar.

You're better off asking in the Gamers Corner or on an actual guitar hero website, if there is one.
